Sandy Cohen is married to Steve, Mom to daughters Jenny & Christy, & cat MIMI! Her Clowning and entertainer career started in 1991 in Germany, volunteering for Special Olympics & Army Youth Services. Her Clown volunteering continued throughout the years until she moved to Stafford, Virginia in 2002.

After working many years in Sales and as a Childcare Teacher, an opportunity presented itself to perform at her daycare in Clown. Sandy started getting parents’ requests to perform at the students birthdays and at the Daycare’s Christmas parties. She took Clown classes in Stafford and in 2003 went into business with the name LOLA the Clown. That same year Mrs. S. Claus was developed for her Daycare and Restaurant Clients.

Sandy has also trained at Advanced Studies for Professional Clowns, Roanoke, VA for the last three years. Sandy is currently volunteers as an Assistant Instructor for new clowns.

Sandy performs Silly Magic, creates Twisted Balloon Art, and Face Paints 3-5 days a week in homes, Restaurants, Daycares, Parks, Corporate and Community events throughout Northern Virginia. She entertains as a variety of costumed characters and has learned many different skills along the way.

Sandy has received Regional Awards for her creative balloons. She is a member of Clowns of America, Intl & World Clown Association and the Virginia chapter of the Better Business Bureau.
